Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, my Mom is an awesome cook and every year I go to her house. This year she also decided that she wanted to play board games again, which makes me very nervous as she has a habit of board-tipping if things aren’t going her way.
The cranberry sauce (dipping sauce, since it took my boyfriend a few hours to get over the fact that I was calling it “sauce” even though it wasn’t gel, jelly, relish, or gravy) is super easy to make, tart, and delicious, you put it on turkey and the turkey is happy. It’s just a bag of frozen cranberries (1 lb), ginger ale (3 cups), orange juice (2 cups), brown sugar (2 tbsp), salt (a dash), and orange zest (1 orange worth), simmered for about an hour and then blended. Yum!
